hi looking for a stopover site in central southern yorkshire for next friday.
can anyone recommend somewhere, its our first night in our rented MH on our way to france for two weeks :)

close to what road. A1, M1?

heading for dover next day, just looking for somewhere to break the journy down
it will be our first night in the MH so id like to spend it on a site than the car park of a sevice station....lol :Rofl1:

hi sqweaka

if you get stuck for somewhere i can recommend one place.

its not a campsite but it is very quiet.

its called the china palace at south milford, about 3 miles off the A1. as you've guessed its a chinese restaraunt.
the managers name is colin.

you can park on the road at the back or in the large carpark. (very quite)

the road is only used by dogwalkers as its the old road (dead end)before the bypass was built.

excellent food and a reasonably priced seperate bar.

we stayed for a night last year and had no trouble whatsoever.

if you are stuck PM me for details.

john.
