I have an old stop lock pro. It must be at least 15 years old and I used it on a car. I have tried it on my Ducato motorhome and it fits the steering wheel but I can still turn the steering. I wouldn't like to try driving with it on but think it could be possible. Are the new stoplock pro's longer and are they any better than the old ones as it looks identical. I am also thinking of buying a clutch-claw. Any thoughts on these. I know it wouldn't stop a thief but as it seems most thefts are from the driveway I might hear them in the night. My dog would anyway.
Cheers Steve

I have a Stop Lok Pro on my Boxer steering wheel. I agree you can still turn the wheel (just - with the seat at lowest) but only if not sitting in the driver's seat. Should be enough of a deterrent.

Sometimes just the sight of them makes them move onto another vehicle.

We use one too, I know it’s getting on a bit but they are better than nothing, fits really well. We used to swap it to the car when we left that at the storage site but it won’t fit this car.

Two holes, a bit of steel and two lock nuts and bolts == sorted.

I've already got a Stop Lock so thought I would use that and buy a clutch claw. The stop lock came out on top above the disk lock on a test but it was down to price that pushed it to the top.
