Checked askmid earlier and no insurance so possibly cancelled by insurers when reported stolen.

I can see some logic if the owners did that, as it might flag it up to the police if seen, but on the other hand if it is recovered but slightly damaged they could not claim.

I guess they would have informed insurers who may have recommended cancellation but what the implications of that would be I don’t know.

It would flag up as a stolen vehicle anyway. (y)

Any one know if a tracker was fitted?

If the number is GN18 it doesn't exist and if it it CN18 it is a Blue Citroen!

Listed as a Petrol engine, if the thieves don't realise and fill it up with diesel they will soon have a problem and might even abandon it.

My Transporter was nicked in the burglary last Boxing day and has not been found (no tracker), I suspect it was either straight in to a container and shipped or more likely stripped and sold as Parts

I have a very nice transporter as a replacement but our insurances have gone through the roof hopefully by next renewal they will start coming back down. there is no such thing as a victimless crime. It's probably wrecked the VW owners Christmas
