Sticky rails (1 Viewer)

Hi All,
Just acquired a Mercedes Vito camper. Westfalia conversion. It has two rails for the seats/bed to slide on but they are very stiff to move. How can I free them up?

clean and lubricate

Spray the rails with furniture polish and clean, then spray again to lubricate.

Jenny was only thinking at lunchtime she'll have to do exactly that to the patio door on the porch and get Pete to do something with an oilcan and the lock mechanism - hopefully he'll read this to see what she's said !
