I worked exclusively on Blackbirds for 17 years... Believe me, linked brakes are not that fussy about what lines are usedEven worse, the bike has (should have) linked brakes, making correctly setting the system up pretty important?
It would fail scrutineering, flexible brake pipes should be as close to the pivot point as to keep the amount of defection to a minimum, brake pipes should be P clipped or cable tied to the swing arm to ensure they don't come into contact with wheel/tyre etc, Road wise it would never pass it's MOT where I have mine done, in fact they'd seriously kick my ass for even taking it there like thatBut its a stainless flexi
No different to using them on the front surely, providing there is no chance of it rubbing of course
