Spain or Portugal? Where's the best weather?

We are crossing on the tunnel later today, heading south for 8 weeks to try and get some warmer/dry weather, but looks like the weather generally is quite poor this year with lots of rain, even snow in places.

Looking for suggestions where the weather is likely to be best over the next few weeks.

Looking at forecasts Portugal is looking slightly drier, but still cool?

If anyone has a crystal ball, could they have a look please?

Portugal is generally cooler and wetter because it is on the Atlantic but that seems to have gone to pot the last few years.

Pot luck these days, just keep an eye on the forecasts.
