Southwest (Bath) Motorhome Show 2021

Hi funsters
Swansea jack asking if anyone drops out of shepton put it on the forum we willtake your place ,unable to prebook due now to baby sitting our new grand son and our daughter going back to work ,we can go to general camping if we have to but it may not be as quiet as the funsters area

Hi swanseajack13 . I suspect that is simply an error in compiling the list by Jim. Lee Fryer, like us, booked and paid before being nominated as marshalls. The important list is the one we get from Warner's on arrival. The list you are looking at in this thread is the list of those who have completed the form for Jim.

We also expect more checks given the recent message from Warner's at https://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/foru...show-tickets-is-a-breach-of-their-t-c.247277/ . I don't agree with them, but it's their rules, not ours. 😣

Ray, don't forget to mention that as President of the W H C you have lifetime access to all Funster camping areas.:party3:
 
I would put in place warners as the illegal immigrants department because no one would get in to this country then ,they are as helpful as a ashtray on a motorbike

Hi All,
As a newbie we are thinking of attending this event, how does everyone get on with toilets etc is there chemical waste points available ?
 
We won't be able to make it to Shepton Mallet as we are off to Spain so there will be a vacant pitch space. I'll send my ticket to Jim to auction/put the entertainment tickets for Saturday night into the draw.

I spoke to jim and warners about your ticket,warners are hard work they say you cannot get a refund or transfer you ticket to another funster and jim confirm that but this how dull they are if you change the registration of the vehicle with them then it will have your name on it but my registration i will pay you for the ticket but will not go to the entertainment i will not leave the dogs in the motor home but someone else may like to go no problem this is hard work with warners see what you think

Hi swanseajack13 It was announced some time ago that Warners were stopping transfers/refunds and were tightening up on ticket sales transfers between showgoers. Accordingly, as its my registration number on the booking it is me who is likely to be penalised into not attending in future so I will just lose the booking and money and give Jim the entertainment ticket to auction/raffle. It was a gamble I took at the time in case Spain was not possible and we had something in reserve so I thought it might happen and happy to take the loss! Thanks for the offer though!
 
The person in warners told me that it would be ok to just change the registration but you would have to contact them to do this and they would give you a reference number to put on your ticket with no comeback on you they said

I think it's just shuttle buses into Shepton on Saturday.

Tanked up with water for the show and the water pump has decided to pack up. Just had to drain down and replace with a new pump hopefully tomorrow at the show. The old pump is a posiflo 3000-151-2501 no longer made so will have to find a replacement.
