Hi,
Spent some of last weekend stripping off mouldy sealant on the outside of our MH a previous owner applied to replace with new
Already had some Sika 512 but on recommendations on here bought some Soudal RV61
Cleaned it all off applied the new stuff, bit of a pain to do even with Fugen tools as was a lot stickier than normal silicone.
Anyway job done, just a bit of polish when dry and will look tons better
EXCEPT 4 days later the stuff is still sticky enough that I can't touch it without leaving fingerprints in it! Oh Please!
I know its cold and will slow things down but its listed as very fast curing even on the tube.
Yesterday was modifying some LED strip lights and filled the ends with Tiger Seal (similar to Sika) upto half an inch or more thick. This morning it was set perfectly. Same building, same conditions
Anyone else had issues with RV61?, will give it till the weekend but at this rate I may end up stripping it all off and using Sika as not confident it well ever harden properly
