So sorry to hear this sad news, never met the guy but he was so helpful to me with the purchase of my van from Germany even contacting me while on a family holiday in Italy to make sure all was going well.

I have never seen the deceased rip beside a name before. Appropriate but quite chilling as well.
Deaths a bitch but its nice to know that a person was appreciated even in a small way by an online forum. Clearly also loved by some who had met said person.

I think of Eddie every day, he was the one who called me a 'Minx' (on another forum). As for Tootles ... every time I hear mention of 'Alexa' or red shoes I think of him.

He was a great character and was the champion of self importing very knowledgeable about the subject you could always get an answer about importing from him sadly missed

I enjoyed eddies posts on a different forum,and his advice, he used to cross swords with a few others , in the best most interesting ways, he gave me some advice to dont put off till tomorrow ,what you can do today,but at the time i didnt know he was terminally ill ,and he passed away shortly after, ive taken his advice and if i want to do it ,……i do , cheers judgemental and god bless you :
