A few years.
Went to a new motorhome/caravan outlet and noticed a trade in that fits our needs. They did not want to take my Compass Cruiser in PX so I took it back to where I bought it. Got an offer far in excess of what I wanted and in return got a discount for cash on the new one, win win. So surfing the net I can find no details of a Weinsberg Imperiale, 2007 on a Renault base with 2.5 engine. I'm hoping that there are loads of paperwork with it!

Emailed Knaus in my best German, perhaps I should have kept to English, will wait and see.
Thanks for the link, had been there but only saw new stuff.

Not got very far with Weinsberg and the various parent companies. I have managed to get user manuals for everything. Had a few weekends away without mishap. However my son wanted to sleep in it at home, not a problem says I I'll fire the heater up for you, great blown air working. He went to bed and came in at 4 in the morning saying it was freezing. Checking later on the gas had gone out, reignited no problem then went out, ok try it on mains, all the correct lights on but no heat or fans. Took it back to the dealer and they had a play and there happened to be a Truma engineer on another job. Although they know what the problem is the unit does not have any markings serial numbers or anything on it . The answer fit a new unit covered by the 6 months no quibble. So glad I found out now rather than next year first wild camp with the wife!

Snap ! Funnly enough Clive we enquired about yours before we bought ours in July but it was a little too far to travel to look at it.

Looks to be a great van from the outside. With a German pedigree you usually cannot go wrong. Weinsberg Motorhomes, part of the Knaus group are produced at the same factory as the popular Knaus Motorhome, youll recognise the same features and build quality normally found in any Knaus Motorhome, at an exceptional price.

Still not got anywhere with Weinsberg/Knaus re original manuals. However not a problem as I've found most online. There were several issues that have been resolved by the selling dealership, namely replacement of the Truma heater/water heater, table mechanism needed a weld, replacement waste pipe and supply of a towing eye essential for our many muddy field weekends. The heater worked fine last year, tried before Xmas and it would fire up then die on both gas and mains. All working now with a new unit and so very quiet compared to the old one, along with a single control panel replacing the two old ones which is so much easier to use! Soon to be out and about and using it for what it was built for.
Oh yes well built it is, and so modern compared to the Compass Cruiser we had before.

Only just seen this thread, and apart from any hab related issues, I think the Renault part is far superior to the usual fiats.

No waiting to exchange contracts on a house move packing and finger crossing at the moment.

It was one of the reasons i chose the MH. We were lucky enough to get the 2.5L 150 BHP with a 6 speed box. It makes it a joy to drive compared to some others at a similar age (2008) that were only 120 ish with a 5 speed box. We also have air con which is another bonus. My wife and myself absolutely love it and think we made the right choice first time which I know from reading on here doesn't always happen.
Clive- I have manuals for ours so if there is anything you want copying just let me know (y)

Same six speed box and A/C. I have a knackered left knee and find the clutch light enough although I may still get an auto clutch fitted.
Thanks for the offer I think I've sussed everything out that is not obvious. Does the manual have a part number?
