Hi currently on EHU in Holland. It's very sunny but our solar panel isn't showing any charge on the display panel. We're in a hymer. We've checked fuses and they seem to be ok. Any idea what the problem might be?

If the van is on EHU, the solar panels would possibly have been "switched off" by the charging unit as the batteries are already charged???

I also wondered this and no doubt someone will be along soon to explain fully.

Step 1

Take a voltage reading where the solar panels cable connects to the input of the solar regulator, should be about 17 to 20 volts if not the panel is dead or a connection bad from panel to input.

Can I suggest you carefully check the wire is securely in the connectors at the panel as I found one of mine had pulled out so the panel was open circuit.
