With the current climate being as it is I'm spending time looking over our van (PVC). The solar charge controller is a Viewstar VS1024BN. I have located the charge wires from the controller to the battery and cannot locate any inline fuse on the positive. From what I have read there should be a 10amp inline fuse. If there is one it is inaccessible. My first question is for safety can I add one just incase the converters didn't?
Any help would be gratefully received.

Looking through the various menus it has LOAD set to ON. From the image there is nothing connected to the load terminals so should I attempt to set it to off or just leave it?

By all means fit a fuse, it cant do any harm. Just ensure you disconnect the solar panel, or cover it or do it at night, before disconnecting the controller from the battery. When you've fitted the fuse reconnect the battery and then the solar panel.

Thanks, the panel works fine just trying to fill in time as I can't leave the house for another 8 weeks.
