I was looking at the Sargent unit off power and it is reading solar 0amps as I have no panel will this mean I can fit a flexible panel straight to the unit or will it need a controller, also has anyone got a wireing diagram for the unit? Tia .

Guessing you will need a controller too.

I believe the Sargent EC325 chargers and later, have a built in solar controller ... you just need to purchase a connection lead from Sargent.
