Doing France, Spain and Portugal from 7th June.
Could someone remind me if the UK plug and socket for the EHU is the same as UK?
I know indoors they are different, but sites🤷‍♂️

Generally and most commonly, they are the same. Some sites still have the old 2 pin sockets. You can get an adapter

If you get an adapter, get one with earth connectors on the outer edge. France has a third pin for earth and Spain has an outer connector. Not sure about Portugal. We also test the polarity of the positive and negative. The French sparkies do not bother much about which way round they connect them. I have 2 adaptors, one which is wired reversed.

Very rare to need an adapter but a good thing to have. The Spanish plug can simply be turned round if you are bothered by reversed polarity (which you shouldnt be, see multiple threads on this subject.)

For what they cost Bob, I’d buy one and keep it in the van. That way you’ll be covered for all eventualities. Speaking from experience by the way

We've been away three weeks and have had about 8 stops. We've needed the adaptor 3 times in France and Spain.
