Hi There
I’m off to sunnier climes soon, Spain to be exact and was thinking of taking a set of snow chains, just in case, I know some will say just go you won’t need them, so just wondering if many do take them with them to Spain, and if so where did you buy yours. Best Wishes Tony

I bought mine recently from this company.

<Broken link removed>

Be aware though that they are a German company & everything is supplied from Germany. Having said that they arrived in 3 days.

Hi it depends on your route and timing if you go via Beiritz it can be iffy on the Pamplona /Zarragoza route but the authorities are great at snow clearing. If you go down the Poitier/Limoges/Toulous route and enter via Narbonne way its relatively good conditions mostly. Snow or all climate tyres are a good investment this time of year, snow tyres are usually just reqiured for the known snow routes ie winter skiing.

We always take them but never used, there was a thread recently about this very subject and stating that the French require you to have them in certain areas. www.mytyres.com do a cheapish range.?
