Hi,

Just joined this forum as not having much luck with my snipe pro max, the antenna will not return to its home position so stuck in its upright position and the control panel does nothing but flash astra4 and hotbird. I have tried switching the unit off but no luck in fixing the problem, any help is very much appreciated.

hello and welcome 👍🏻
I remember another member here had one of these products and it failed. He opened it up and said it was poorly made . Can’t remember if the problem was fixed . Lots of people moving away from Satellite Tv and using mobile broadband routers and Firesticks/Roku boxes etc

If you have a fully charged leisure battery start the engine and it should go to stow { park position }.
Sometimes the co-ax connector on the roof corrodes due to the weather. Check that as well when the unit is powered OFF.
Don't connect or disconnect any leads when powered up as they can break.

I will take a look and see but when I was on the roof earlier all looked ok, I was debating on sourcing or trying to source a new control unit

Have you got the latest firmware installed? Might be worth a shot.

Was this problem fixed? I have the same error on a snipe pro.

I more hope that one can offer a fine solution as I just received a Snipe Pro too just to check. Unfortunately all leds blink twice which is ok and then after a while two leds from Atlantic Bird and Turksat start to blink and that’s it. The only thing I noticed is that the connected power supply seems to be loaded quite a bit but the voltage stays nicely around 13.8 volts. None of the buttons work. Power off power on doesn’t seem to do very much too. Any info regarding resetting this device might be helpful.

Obviously nobody had any hints what might have caused this odd behavior. I am not the only one that experiences this behavior But no one has the solution on this board.
