Hi can anyone tell me how often you have to do a software update on the controller , iv e only had mine 6 weeks and had to do a update which meant i had to borrow an old laptop as windows 10 would not work

We've got a Snipe 2 (not dome) and did a re-install of the firmware a couple of months back. The file was put on a USB stick using a Windows 10 laptop. Maybe the process is different for a dome, right enough.
From memory, the latest update was from November, 2018 and I think it's only updated when changes are made to the satellites. So, a bit of how long is the piece of string!
