MH newbie but we owned a caravan previously.
Booked in this weekend including camping. No ehu available which is OK but is grey/black waste disposal available. Can't find any info anywhere so have any of you 'orrible lot stopped there and can you advise? Many thanks for any info received.

I was under the impression that the camp site was closed for the BTCC and tickets restricted to 4,000

Tickets restricted to 4000 but site open (at least their online booking allows you to buy weekend camping).

Interesting 🤨 but nether the less, grey/black waste disposal is available.

I‘d keep an eye on the camping if I were you, but I’ve checked the website and it appears your right.

MSV have been very good with info throughout covid but there seems to be a slip up here as we held our RV slot over only to be told “no camping a few weeks back”

I suspect places are being restricted and some previously booked slots are allowed and some not to maintain social distancing.

Thanks for the info re black/grey waste. When I booked (last Thursday I believe) there were two large RV spots left. We got one obviously. Seating was still available but we didn't book. It'll be a suspenseful journey Friday!

We’re at Larling this weekend based on the fact that previous restricted access races have allowed us to drive into the lay-by by the bomb hole and Larling is a better site with a pub and costs less.

My first visit to Snetterton so we went with the easy option! Tis a tad expensive but at least I can have a beer or three during the day. Enjoy the racing.

Feel free to wonder over to the Bomb hole, you’ll not have to far to walk, we’ll be between Nelsons and the bomb hole (as close to Nelsons as possible) and the views much better than the camp site.

Again, thanks for the info. We will probably explore the whole circuit during the weekend.

Very little of the circuit is accessible but from the high embankment with access behind Tyrells restaurant you can see the start finish straight, turn 1, tops of cars on turn 2, turn 3 would be right in front of you turn 4 out of view but turn 5 and 6 in view, From the top of the embankment at turn 4 which would be in front of you, you can see the Bentley Straight, also good access to low bank on part of Bentley st, then fairly good access to view through the Bomb Hole, Small grandstand to view Coram and Murray’s etc.

Thanks 2GB for that.

There's a dump point at the back of the Paddock near the toilet block white arrow indicates:

Augusta08, Bit of a trek! See you have a decent motorhome.

I race Snett every year usually first race of the season, a man needs a hobby.

ElliesBoss -

Nice to meet you both Hope the trip homes goes ok.

I‘ll let you know about those tickets as soon as I get news.

Thanks. Possibly stopping at a pub tonight on the way back.

Should have joined us, food was great and the camp site almost empty.

Hi ElliesBoss,

sorry to resurrect this one. I just wondered how your experience was camping at the BTCC at Snetterton? I’m booked in for this years event and am a little nervous. Reports of thieves and thinking that it might get a little rowdy. How was it?

I've never been to Snetterton. but if you arrive with empty tanks and full water, surely you should be able to last, without need, for a weekend?

Book into Sandringham for the night before and arrive prepared. 🙂

Ive not been to Snetterton but regularly camp at Oulton Park for BTCC and other events no problem at all. Occasionally rowdy but nothing major security and fire marshalls drive around all night and keep an eye on things.

Was there last weekend watching the bike racing. Plenty of room, park where you like, most generators are in the paddock but you can always move if there's a noisy one nearby. Toilet emptying is across from the restaurant 👍
