Smart move!!

Just a note of interest.

We tow our Smart car on a Brian James trailer which is perfect for getting us about in when we get where we're going.

Because most of our holidays are spent by the sea, we take our very big inflatable boat with us when we go away. When we were 'tuggers' we always had a vehicle (the tow car) to chuck the boat in or on to get it to the nearest beach. A good hefty tow car is a boon in that sort of situation! However, it's not to easy to transport 220kg's worth of boat and engine in (or on) a Smart car. So following the example of some very good friends of ours, we fitted the Smart with a tow bar.

So now we can use the Smart to tow it's own trailer with the boat on it to wherever we want to go.

'Not very useful' I hear you all muttering, 'If you neither have, nor want, a boat'.

However, have you ever wondered how best to go and pick up your new RV. A flash of inspiration and no train fares. Hook the trailer on to the Smart, drive to where the new RV is at, hook the trailer on to the RV, drive the Smart onto the trailer and hey presto!

Great idea if your always buying new RV's.
