Small sites by villages sought!

Hi all,
I'm looking for a CL/CS or similar which is within a short walk - for a semi-mobile person- of a village/small town with a shop or three and/or a pub/cafe. At the moment thinking of Wiltshire, Somerset or Gloucester area, but any suggestions are welcome. Many thanks

You might try a subscription to Britstops - plenty of pubs in villages in their book

Longmeade Farm CL is a short walk from the village of Prestbury near Cheltenham. I would stay well clear between 11th and 15th of March though. (Cheltenham Races)
