Hi we have two ebikes which we want to store in the garage.
Has anyone used the rad fazz fork mounts or simular with the fiamma or simular sliding rack if possible
We have to take out the front wheel due to the internal garage height

Hi the door is 1.0 by 780 height, I was hoping that I could fix a fork mount onto one end and drop the wheel out to give us height clearance

I had the same problem with our ebikes. I used to take the front wheels off and fit a piece of wood with a folk mount on it. I could then lift the bike up and push it in. After doing that for a season and all the agro putting wheels back on etc bought a couple of folding bikes and swapped over the ebike kits. Now all I do is fold the handlebars down and roll them in. I saw some folding handlebars the other day that would make then narrower and I have also fitted folding pedals to ours to give a bit more room.

QFour has the same approach as we do. Our door is 550mm wide by 1050 high and it is usually a 2 person task getting them backed into the garage. Also fitted folding pedals to make things simpler. Using the fork mounts bolted to a full width (550mm)board with foam stuck to the base gives a very secure base for the bikes and tables chairs etc all stack neatly round them. Front wheels go in a couple of wheel bags found on eBay. Its a fairly low cost option and has worked well for us. PM me if photos required!

We fitted a Fiamma Carry-Bike Garage Plus, does not have sliding rails but 2 rails that can be lifted out of the way and an upright with 2 bars to hold the bikes. We take the front wheels off and turn the handle bars to get the bikes in. So far works well takes a couple of minutes to get a bike out, wheel on and ready. The easiness is down to the brakes being disc brakes and therefore simple to remove and refit the front wheel.

The front forks fit into plastic packing bits that Halfords gave us when we asked if they had any proper forks mounts (btw they said no), these rest on the garage floor am looking at the fitted fork mounts, but at the moment the bikes can be moved backwards and forwards which helps when packing garage sometimes.

We had the same problem with our ebikes I remove the front wheels then I bought 4 Ferrules to put over the fork ends

Could you get or make up some small wheels to load / unload like child's stabiliser wheels?
You'd only need one pair for both bikes .

Well thanks for all the replies and ideas, going to get a bike cover for our Thule rack from bags4 everything while in uk and campsites and when touring put in the garage using ideas suggested
