I wonder if anyone can suggest a garage that can handle our van, my normal garage can accommodate our van as it too long for their lifting device, we are over by 3 inches...

Motus do commercials so can handle mohos. Depends what you want doing. Edwards at Worcester are very good. New workshops so can do most things.

Fabulous motor museum in Coventry.

And I recommend visiting Vulcan XM655 at Wellesbourne. (Usually open for visitors on Saturdays).

I use Nuneaton Peugeot Specialists on Attleborough Fields Ind Est, as does Research Garage Nuneaton for all its MOT work. Hope that's of use to you.
 
We used to use an independent , but they struggled when we needed the turbo swapping

Moved to Mercedes commercial garage one junction down the motorway for us, we are about the smallest vehicle in the car park when we leave it with them

I would suggest getting in contact with a Fiat commercial workshop , presuming yours is a Fiat chassis 🤔😁👍

Yes, I have the same issue. In the end the only place locally able to do it was my least favoured option, the Mercedes truck and van dealer. Phoning around the various commercial MOT places, I was surprised that they were not authorised to do class 4 which is a motorhome. Even the Mercedes place only had limited days where their authorised tester was available. Last time in there for ABS failure, we were dwarfed by the other vehicles, as David says above
