Heard a whisper that Gov not going to open sites til after Easter wend anyone heard that?

Sorry never heard that but hopefully they will be open by May.

Where did you hear it ?
I guess it`s about right though.
The problem will be containing people in their homes / lockdown if we look like getting decent weather over Easter
Or any other weekend come to that between now and then

It still says closed until 8th March to be reviewed in line with government guidance on the caravan club website.

do you not think they will want everyone to spend their new found savings in the UK before we're all allowed to go abroad? my guess is as good as anyone else, but i think campsites will open just before easter

I think the lifting of restrictions is going to be a very delicate balance that will be impossible to get right for everyone.
However it`s done, it will attract massive critisim from political opponents and the media who will be writing the headlines already before we`re even there
