Site near Toulouse please

I’d be grateful for advice re a site within an hour of Toulouse (airport) open mid October.

I love planning trips and sites, but I’m struggling for this one.
The very close site in Toulouse scores verify badly for security.

I have passed an aire by the canal du midi about an hour SE of Toulouse, but can’t find it now and can‘t find it on previous Garmin maps.

Any experience?

We enjoyed the CCP one at Rieux-Volvestre, though I don't remember there being much there. Castelnaudary has two, but one may be unavailable. Might the one you are trying to remember be Labastide-d’Anjou?

Not sure if it is still open but I used to use camping a la ferme about a mile outside Rieumes.

I was going to suggest this but didn't know if it was ok with you.
Yes we have been here and you couldn't find a nicer lady than Frankie , took us on a tour round town when we went.

chaser In fact anytime really. I seldom go away because of my work both as a childminder and on the stadium. So if someone asks just tell them. If really there is a problem at the said date , then it's always time to say I can't . Better than to go at random and may be get somewhere not safe!
