THere is a camping car aire almost in the centre but it's 35€ for 24 hours (GPS 41.37777, 2.18367)

We stayed at Mataro (Camping Barcelona) who provide a shuttle bus (Disabled friendly too) into the city (free in low season) but they close for the winter

Plus one for the Camperstop Aire right in the city.
Tarmac. Clean, very secure with gate and security 24/7; quiet at night, metro station is 2 mins walk from front gate. All MH services included, plus showerblock, and wifi in the price.
Not cheap at 35€ per night, but brilliant for getting right into city centre in just 10mins, and back out late at night easily on Metro.

All the camping sites are a lot further out, the two we've used were not much cop and not cheap either, and it takes quite a long while to get into Barca on the buses/trains from them.....which mostly don't run later on at night anyway.

On balance, we always stay at the Camperstop aire now (we're there a couple of times a year for 2 or 3 nights at a time)

WE are looking at it for next year but it's the price that is putting SWMBO off but doesn't worry me as it's almost a campsite

Where we stayed this year was nice BUT took around an hour to get to Barca and pedestrian access to the site was risky ishh cycle access was SCARY and to drive out you needed JATO rockets to get into the constant traffic

Well each to their own but staying at the Camperstop would save you about 1.5 hours travelling per day, as it's literally 15 mins walk/metro into the very centre of the city.
