Hello all,
We have a Sigma S34 alarm fitted on our motorhome and when we aim to set the alarm it continually beeps, therefore we have to switch off. It should beep a couple of times to say it’s armed, yet this doesn’t stop.
Scorpion Automotive who manufacture the alarm suggest it could be a faulty door sensor. They’ve advised getting a local alarm specialist out. None exist!

Questions:
Anyone experienced similar?
Anyone know of mobile motorhome alarm specialist in Cheshire they can recommend?

Thanks.

I have the same alarm (i think) and I gave up on mine.
Is it the one with the red and black fob commonly fitted by Brownhills ?
Just use the fob for the immobiliser now.
I think they are a modified car alarm. Mine always used to be set off by wind rocking the van and setting it to deactivate motion sensor was a faff.

Welcome to the forum by the way

Thanks for the replies.
Yes it was installed by Brownhills for the original owner (we’re the second owner). Disarming the interiors is very simply we find, using the fob. I'm not sure how you would use just for the immobiliser, with setting all the alarm.....? Be keen to know.

I already spoke with Scorpion and they’ve given me a number but the chap is exceptional busy; no others in the area really.

I’ll keep investigating...

Have you a handbook for the alarm? We have one and it's very reliable.

If it keeps beeping one of the sensors is causing the problem. In my case it was an external locker door. You just have to disconnect things in turn till you find the faulty one I'm afraid.

On my sigma the sensors are more or less just two pieces of magnetcovered in plastic. These can be got from any alarm company.I just googled door sensors and quite a few show up.Maybe yours are there.

Sillious Sodus - yes I have the manual thanks. Unfortunately doesn’t go in to depth on troubleshooting.

ReallyRetired - I think that’s what I need to do to find this faulty sensor. Could you advise me how I isolate them individually?

Masma - could be an option to buy new connectors, thanks.
