Sigma key Pad

I have a Sigma key pad in the cab of my motorhome, I know it is in some way connected to the central locking system, but what does the key pad do, anyone out there able to offer help?

In mine it's for working the alarm when the fob dont work, on a 2003 swift

mine is set so I have to enter a 4 digit code before I can start the engine it can also be used to & disarm the alarm. You can download the instructions from there website.
