Hi - I'm a newbie to this platform. Have converted a Transit 2008 Mk7 medium wheelbase van. Has anyone got any information or links where I can find a suitable side door entry step, manual type not electric, new or second hand? Can't seem to find one to fit my Transit. Thanks in advance.

Hi, Welcome to the Funsters Madhouse:hi::D.

I can't really help you with the step problem, but if you don't get any responses I'd suggest you repost this on the 'Self-build Motorhomes' forum on this site. There's a lot of knowledgeable enthusiasts there who will have good ideas about this.

I have a manual step I took off my transit when I put an electric step on. What model transit do you have?

I'm not sure, it was fitted by the converter. It's been in the shed for a while now, so as you are so far away probably better to get a new one. I would advise not getting one that just slides out, it's a big step down so get one that drops to about half way. https://www.leisureshopdirect.com/c...fittings/steps/omni-step-manual-550-aluminium
this is similar to the one I have
