Just back from a rally in Shrewsbury, where we stayed for a week, visiting the City every day. We discovered a really interesting town where cycles use the pavements, boring Town Markets have been replaced by a stimulating shopping eating experience that was more typical of far east food halls. I was told there were 600 (?) stalls trying to get a place here. The Museum and Art Gallery was more like a London museum with its up to date presentations. A place well worth a visit if only to take a boat ride or hire a canoe.
