I did have a search and try and see if anyone else has tried this . Sadly I couldn’t find anything. I hope the repair goes well 👍🏻

Had a camera put down today and found the problem a split waste pipe

I think I have to remove the outside wheel arch and plastic insert and then I be able to get to this but the pipe must run in top of waste tank so do they just drop in or am I going to have to remove tank ?

i think to do a secure job you may have to remove the tank and renew the pipe. it will most likely be fixed at the tank end.

First, if possible, I would use a Dremel with a flexi to get that jubilee clip cut off, it doesn't look like it will unscrew easily.

Then cut the hose off at the split and see if there's enough stretch in it to pull it through the floor enough to reach the trap, this might save you a lot of hassle.
If not, then you'll have to go down the route of changing the whole pipe.

Right removed wheel arch and moulding and there it was so that’s the way to get to it
Sealed new pipe and joined it on pipe under van not at waste tank so that was easy
Reseal the waste outlet on shower as autotrail put noting on it that why it was leaking all them years bloody joke
And the pipe was bent at funny angle as autotrail
Cut hole in wrong place
These builds are slung together bad workmanship

now letting it all air then I put back later

many many years! since I was a kid
i much prefer to replace with solvent welded smooth bore pipe and fittings. Prevents a repeat leak and if you add a tee with screw on cap, can be cleaned easily when needed later
