My, van, a Devon Aztec has a tipping washbasin in the toilet/shower compartment. The tap/shower is mounted on a tap pedestal which is covered when the basin is folded. In order to use the shower one has to open the basin and extract the shower hose from the tap.My problem is that you have to have the basin open in order to operate the shower Which makes it rather tight in there,

so I am thinking that a trigger operated shower would enable me to partially close the basin (with the help of some bungee cord and stick on hooks) and operate the shower having preset the temperature, thus giving me a bit more elbow room. So has anybody else got this style of shower head? Or have you fitted and can recommend one?

We have a trigger head on ours cant help with the type as it was on there when we bought it. I was in the local caravan shop yesterday and they had one there so would imagine they were readily available.
Think there was a thread earlier on here somewhere with a recommendation. 👍

We find that the trigger type of shower head makes washing hair difficult. (Speaking for myself, I don’t have that much left, but Mrs Maison has).

One hand to wash the left side, one to hold the shower head, and one.......oh no, that doesn’t work!

We changed it for a standard head and use the lever tap to turn the water on and off. Much easier in our experience.

Did you try and pull the trigger away from the shower head body, rather than push it?

The trigger head fitted to ours locks in the open position when pulled, ideal for washing your hair, then return the trigger to normal position, then pull for the rest of the shower

I got one of these last week on the recommendation of another. I’ve fitted it and as you can see there is a stop button which can also be used to reduce the flow. The shower head has a very fine rose which should be beneficial to reducing water usage.
At the minute i know it works but I haven’t showered with it yet.

That shower head certainly looks the business......or did, until I got to the last picture, mentioning the filter with ‘overripping’ core! Wonder where that is, or where you put it?? Answers on a postcard, please!!! (Only joking!)

Well all I can say at the mo that it has a very fine spray with 3 settings and water flow can be reduced or stopped on the Stop button and it has a bit of weight so it’s not all chromed plastic
