Short distance long journey

We left Plymouth 10am this morning for Salisbury a38 m5 to j25 cut through to a 303 then a36 about 140 miles 6.5 hour’s traffic absolutely horrendous it helped by traffic patrol not police. rolls Royce broken down so push it into the lay-by no alternate traffic with a 5minute chat in between Cream crackered

Are you sure it was a Rolls Royce?
Crewe will have you know their vehicles don't break down... Its just the driver stopping for a break.

Oh yes through my weariness I noticed it was a 60s model took about a hour to get past it they could have pushed into a lay-by which was opposite

I had that once by stonehenge. 3 planks stood there & could easily have pushed it across the road into the field lane. Or another time the half wit who broke down going DOWN the hill south bound just as the dual enters single lane & stopped 18" from the kerb then stopped traffic going up the other way to borrow a phone to call for assistance .He could easily have rolled it on to the grass completely out of the way & he was wondering why he had to lock himself in his car as people were queing up to punch him.
