Has anybody shipped their motorhome to the USA and back for a holiday and if so what was the cost?

Van now in USA

Collected the van today from Baltimore docks for our six month road trip.Previous posts inspired us to do it. Our winter sun in Spain will have to wait till March .

Probably better to buy one on arrival and sell when you leave. Your only allowed 90 on the ESTA visa waiver.

You can get 6 month by applying for a B2 visa instead of an ESTA waiver and if you combine it with 6 months in Canada then the transport costs dwindle to insignificant in the scheme of things.....a whole year in North America with your own van and own equipment , clothes etc etc etc for around 8k …..

We did it and spent 6 months USA and Canada. Great trip. Our thread is on here somewhere
