How could it not be cancelled?

The new restrictions don’t come into force until monday anyway so why would they have cancelled it?

Give me a reason why it should be cancelled
Because it is an unnecessary blatant flaunting of the rules for commercial gain. We are approaching the second wave of a pandemic that is destroying our country with borrowing at two trillion and climbing towards disaster for all of us.
Now DD remembering that with the colds and flu season on our doorstep, I put it back to you. Give me a reason why this exercise in commercial greed should go ahead.

But why would anyone risk it?
Why would they indeed Nirvanauk, the logistics would require bringing together UK wide traders and hobbyists from all region's of the country many seeing pound notes rather than common sense. Yes Why would anyone risk it. (y)

if your numbers il it's up.jiding away won't
Help.

What rules? They start Monday. As above get them all back to work, school And take the chances.
No hope otherwise.

The shops are open and this is outside unlike shops so why not?

The rule of common sense gus. I had a restaurant meal last night, waiters in face masks, tables all 2m apart. Tables given a deep clean between services etc etc. This is the only way back to normality. These are the rules of common sense gus and the reason I wouldn't go within two meter's of this show entrance.

Common sense would indicate that entering a closed space and eating food prepared in a hot closed kitchen by chefs possibly not wearing gloves which is then picked up by another person to deliver to your seat is less safe than wandering around in the open air.

What is the difference? Gloves, mask, sanitiser is the only way you are allowed in , one direction, 2m spacing Like it should be everywhere.
If you wish not to wear a mask/glovesfor no other reason than you don't want to, then indelibly sprayed & no medical attention given if you fall ill nor to any relatives /family.

Visited this morning and have to say, a pleasant experience with almost all traders and visitors being SD responsible. Some wearing masks all the time, some just when looking inside vehicles. Lots of open space and definitely felt safer that going in a restaurant.

The traders need our support. We spent more than we would normally just to try and help them.

And if you like pork scratchings, get down there and try the ones from the Crusty Pie stand :)

Whatever you want to think. It does not break rules, I am parked well in excess of 6 metres away from any van and social distancing is no different to my visit to Sainsgogs yesterday and many previous events. If the local council, Warner’s and any other body’s rigorous Health and public liability risk assessment plus adherence to the local and national laws are good enough for them, then they are good enough for me.

Precisely, but scaremongering is a hobby

Common sense dictates that the risk is far, far higher having a restaurant meal than walking around outside. Think of all that air and those toxic Covid aerosols floating around beteween diners during the whole time the place is open.........

I am surprised at your attitude to Corona, always thought you were a go for it type, but saying the things you do then going in to a restaurant just doesn't make sense, I wouldn't go in a pub or restaurant If you paid me, but meeting people outside even without masks doesn't bother me at all.

It's a mystery to me why anyone would travel miles and pay good money to sit in a field well in access of 6 metres from another human being, I always thought the idea of a meet was to socialize with like minded people, spend a bit of time being entertained getting intoxicated and making a purchase or two from a crowded sales pitch. :drinks:;)

My life, my choice. Better than an unnecessary high risk meal in a stuffy restaurant full of Covid aerosols. Tacked on to the end of another trip, as it happens

We are also here and feel perfectly safe. Much, much safer than I felt calling into Tesco to get essentials for the weekendto be met by Idiots in masks with about as much intention of maintaining one metre, let alone two, constantly touching their masks, wearing them below the nose etc, etc etc. I kept my distance and if anyone came too close, backed away.

Whatever happened to the thought that we are responsible for our own safety. Been enough snowflake and 'elf and safety gone mad" threads on here over the years, many from those now arguing we should all do exactly what Boris etc tell us whatever the personal consequences.

Not necessarily , all indoor places should have air flow , all spoons have windows , doors etc open going to be many layers on during winter 😂
