Mine too have not moulted , sorry to hear about yours. There not mixed with man made fibres are they?

No problems but on another van we had the sheepskin lookalikes, really not good, worse than cats.

They make great rugs. Hated them as seat covers. Alway slipping about.. No definetly great rugs LOL

Hi
There new got them from company on eBay called car seat covers have reported them and they have apologised and given a discount but we can't use them as they moult continuously it might be something to do with them being faux sheepskin fur I'm thinking , so if someone can let me know where to get decent ones please let me know I really want them to protect the front seats
Thanking everyone in advance xx

Time for a recommendation to Skyeskyns ,not a million miles from you.
10% discount for funsters
Or 10% discount for a month if you go on mailing list (but not both).

Another recommendation for Skyeskyns.
Excellent and quick service and good quality.
Phone them for the 10% discount rather than order online.

Richard.

We have had ours about 7 years now fro Skyeskyns they have never moulted and they have been washed
I would say if you get them from there make sure you let them know they are for Motorhome Seat covers so you get the right size

Another thumbs up for Skye Skins. Had ours a few years... never moulted.

Willdrop them an email I have looked on there web site no mention of seat covers on it I'm looking for them to be a snug fit front and back not ones just like a throw

I doubt that you will get the fit that you want with a real sheepskin. They are not stretchy fabric. We have real skins and they are kept in place using ties around the back my wife sewed on

Ah! I think most of us thought you were talking about real sheepskin, which doesn't moult. A few years ago we had some stretchy fake sheepskin look a likes, they were fine for a while (didn't moult) but they wore out and went thread bare after about one year.

There is a company on eBay that do fabric seat covers, who we bought from after the fake ones were ditched. We were pleased with the quality and the service.

We got ours from Barnscroft in Devon (make sure you get the double size). Ours are brown so match the van upholstery.

They are held on with ironing board cover straps.

So did we, and saved ourselves around £100 or so on the pair, compared to buying the same ones locally.
A mention of Motorhome Fun also attracts a small discount, when ordering by phone. (y)

Ours are held on by braces, similar to the ironing board cover straps. (y)

Cheers,

Jock. :)

+1 for Skyeskins. Superb quality skins which don't moult. Superb customer service and first class delivery (even over here to Spain). Highly recommended.
