So, my motorhome had a service and MOT last October and since then, it has not turned a wheel.
We'll be using it for probably 1000 miles this year.
The big question is, should I get it serviced this year at the MOT renewal?
(Last service was brake check, oil & filters change and a new radiator which I was informed was leaking but no drop in coolant level strangely)

if its not under warranty then i would just just get the mot and check the oil.

Given your use, I would be inclined to just get an MOT and check it over your self. You can do levels and pressures etc and lub hinges and doors.

My garage told me not to bother with servicing the cars this year - they normally do it with the MoT - as they had hardly done any miles. They still gave them a good lookover though and came up with a couple of small points that weren't part of the MoT I can sort myself.

The garage we use for all our cars always adjust the service level dependent on the mileage. Managements Polo hasn’t moved much since she retired due to a long break in Australia and lock down.
It was MOT and check levels and clean out the brakes. By the time the van is due service and MOT next January it will have only done the mileage for a minor service so car costs this year should be a bit cheaper.

Thanks everyone - I'm thinking the same.
just can't justify £110 plus vat for oil, filter, ancillaries plus labour, nt to mention owt else they decide on.

our 2017 Peugeot boxer based van only needs servicing every 2 years as per advice straight from Peugeot themselves though our local garage did try to tell me it was every 12 months until I told them what Peugeot had told me when they suddenly had a memory refresh!

if out of warranty, not an issue at all. The service interval for the ducato is 24months

The oil is barely used so will be fine
