I did a self build on a VW 'rusty bay' in the 70s but nothing since.

I have kitted out three vans... a V4 Transit, an Iveco 60-10 and my current Iveco 35-12 Turbo Daily. None were/are ever quite finished...

Current van is number 14, but 12 of the previous vans were selfbuilds, from FG360's to Furniture lorries, mini's to transits. So done my share of home building.

M H self builds

Hi terry , weve done 4 ,never finished any. This ones a vw lt 35,the best yet and as soon as the weather improves I shall be starting its third refit, not quite right yet but getting there.So include me in. All the best in the new year to one and all. dave and cal :Smile:

hi terry . better put me on your list. i have done loads still do. can build what ever ,but cant cut and paste . ha ha .
prefer trucks to vans . dont mind chassis cabs with boxes though.
hate to think how many vw,s have converted over the years . used to fit hightops as well.
kernow conversions.
now bad karma conv.
we do prison trucks and my unit was the local grave diggers tipper .

Suppose I'd better add myself to the list. Our present Iveco 40-10 called Eclipse is our fifth van, first was a '79 Bedofrd CF that was rotten to the core (converted and reconverted about three times. 2nd van was a '83 CF which we converted then altered about three times. Next up was a '83 Freight Rover (converted only the once) followed by a '90 Highwayman which we reskinned, rewired, rebuilt.

Sorry Gromit but all mines been finished---only running repairs on van and one bit of trim that was not (dare I say it

was not glued on )

son and I did a self build about 6/7 years ago. A Merc 709 pannel van. Took 2years to complete. Son runs it now.
