Sea food saint malo to le harve (1 Viewer)

Wife is hankering for some mussels (at least I think she meant that type ) any suggestions for a site along the coast sort of st malo to le harve area that has great reasonable molluscs ?

Cancale has an oyster market. You can buy and sit and eat them on the steps on the seafront A short drive from st Malo. There is an Aire just on the edge of town

A bit further east from Cancale (great place, great aire, bus into St Malo) is le Vivier-sur-Mer. Oyster bar on the marshes there. Several between Cherbourg and Caen, and beyond. In Google maps use 'bar a huitres' (oyster bar) as your search term.

If you really meant mussels, they are ubiquitous. Almost every bar, cafe or resto will have 'moules frites' (mussels & chips) on their daily offering. Hard to find a bad one.

We have found a lot of places aren't doing mussels over here at the moment, something to do with it being the wrong season. Last two towns we visited could find any restaurants selling them.
