Hi
The windows on my MH have scratches on them from bushes. Only light scratches.
Can anyone recommend a polish to buff them off? Please.
Have a good weekend all

Alex

I've always used T-Cut which seems to be scowled upon, but it does a great job.
However, method of polishing is very important, DO NOT polish in swirls, polish in straight lines to "polarize" the scratches & they will disappear.
Now its very important to wash the windows to remove any chemical residue, then use a chamois leather to dry to a sparking finish.

I was advised not to use Tcut as it is petroleum based and causes acrylic windows and lamp lenses to develop fine stress cracks. The hand book suggests Farecla which is available as a cream or paste in different grades. I have only used grade 3 but a finer grade 10 would take longer and probably give a clearer view.
Straight lines are advised if you manually rub using a cloth or pad but a rotary powered device is also suggested. That bit always confuses me.

Someone I worked was ex RAF and said they used Brasso for cockpit scratches. I can’t imagine why cockpit canopies would be scratched.

Brasso liquid. No circular rubbing. Use it in line with the scratch and do it gently. Then wash off residue and dry with clean cloth.

Use the correct stuff, your windows are very expensive to replace. Meguires Plast RX is good and safe on plastic windows
Do NOT use Tcut it can cause the window to craze.

Another one for Brasso (or silver polish)
Do the scratched area first as advised above, then lightly do the rest of the window
Then go indoors and make a cuppa
Go back out and the window will have ‘grown’ a very slight scratch
Repeat process

Another vote for Fenwicks Windowize.... takes some time and effort but delivers an amazing result.
My van had markes on a couple of the windows that looked like the past owner had used a wire brush to clean them, but the Windowize completely removed the marks and left me with windows like new.
