Hi has anyone got some suggestions for doing the Scottish 500? Will be travelling anti clockwise from Inverness are there any good places to wild camp or pubs that allow motorhomes to stay over?

check the NC500 website, and might be worth buying a Britstops subscription and Searchforsites. You will find sites on both but britstops lists loads of pubs and farm shops etc who will have no charge but your expected to support them by buying drink food or produce and many will have no waste water facilities.

As previously stated Apps such as searchforsites show plenty of places to park up for a night or two. You’ll also see lots of places not listed. I’d recommend doing it anti clockwise as the best is in the west. There’s a book ‘North Coast 500’ by Charles Tait. About £8 off Amazon. Very detailed about everything there is to see and do on the NC500. Well worth the money if doing that trip.
