bet your licence would cover this:Wink:

And something a aged MOD would feel at home on:Wink::Rofl1:

BTW:- I would LOVE a Solex for real:thumb:

You'll need to look on the licence to see what else it's showing if it's a photo one.

Scooters

Hi

I had this very conversation with the DVLA on Friday.

Upto 50cc, and with a full car licence, you can drive a scooter without L plates, limited to 30 mph.

Over 50 cc, you need to do the basic training and you can then ride with L plates on.

To get rid of the L plates, you need to do a test.

You will be known as "The Night Rider" Tony
Wouldn't want to be seen in daylight on that mate :Rofl1::Rofl1::Rofl1:

If you only have a provisional motorcycle license, you can only ride a bike up to 125cc.
If you then pass your bike test on a 125cc bike, you cannot ride a bike over 33 BHP for two years. However if you do a direct access course and take your test on a bike with 33 BHP, you can then ride any cc bike with any power you like, assuming you pass.

lugnut - it you are an ex-mod surely you have already owned a scooter :Eek!:
