Satellite dish & receiver for a Motorhome

Thinking about getting one of these.
Has anyone got or had one?

Hang fire you will come across many second hand one's from as little as £20 believe me.
many many folk simply give up on them
They are good bits of kit they work well Once you have been shown how, or are lucky enough to understand what it is your actually doing
regular users have them up and running in 3-5 mins
newbies are still trying after 3 to 4 days thats when they get sold on:rolleyes: check out adds here and on fleabay
They are all much of a mucheness, non really any better than he other
I keep one on board for emergencies(y)
 
Aldi and Lidl sell then occasionally ,I bought one a year or two back ,ok for this country ,but you will need a Bigger dish if you use it abroad ,the receiver will/should work with any dish.:)
 
Ive got a comag receiver, a satellite dish (not sure what make), a tripod, easy find lnb, bag and some wires...There all second hand, i've never used them (bought a different dish and a TV with Receiver built in) so all free to a good home if you can collect - I'm in East Yorkshire

Ive got one still in the box must get around to trying it could I ask you for some tips Geo I visit Mansfield a lot my mum and dad still live there

Yes sorry, ignore me I was thinking that Whitley was somewhere else. In that case, its about 20 mins down the motorway from me.
