I'm a newbie
Hi, I have a Sargent EC155 power supply unit in my campervan, I purchased it last year and the fridge worked fine, we are on holiday in Ireland and the fridge won't work, I have checked the fridge fuse and there is no voltage on either terminal that the fuses fit in, fuse has tested OK, One thing I have noticed is the voltage on all the other fuses have 12 volts on a multi meter, could it be a relay? The fridge worked last year on Van and Leisure batteries, but getting nothing now.
Has anyone had this problem, I thought of rigging up a fuse with power taken from a similar amperage fuse outlet and put it into the fridge fuse on the input side, any help would be welcome.

Have you checked the 5 amp permanent supply fuse and the 20 amp battery fuses on the EC155 fuse board .There would normally also be a 20 amp (or more) fuse close to the battery positive connections. The fridge (If a 3 x way type) should only work on 12v when the engine is running with the 12v fridge heater element being supplied from the starter battery via a relay. (the leisure battery may be powering the fridge control system.)
If you have ,as well as the EC155 unit ,a separate Sargent EM40 unit fitted this will have fridge fuses in it.

Geoffndee, will check that out, thanks
