Afternoon all,
I am helping my son rewire his camper and have hit a snag. The EC155 is quite a simple piece of kit, but since rewiring have a problem.
I have disconnected everything now other than the leisure battery and the EC155. The only connections are the 2 grounds in pins 2 and 3, and the battery input on pins 8 and 9.
When I turn it on I get 2 beeps and the 2 blue LEDs above the 2 batteries on the control panel flash. It is unresponsive.
If I disconnect pin 9, it seems to work! According to the manual, you should have both 8 and 9 connected to the leisure battery via a 20A fuse, which is how I have it.
There was a spare EC155 in the camper when he got it, so we have tried that with the same result. So leaning away from a fault with the EC155 units.
I have emailed support at Sargent, but waiting for a response.
Any help really appreciated.
