We were thinking of going to Sardinia in May/June. I have seen that there are a lot of AutoCAD's an parks. Does anyone know if we are likely to easily be able to tour around without booking? We also have a small dog. Does anyone know if dogs are allowed on Sardinian beaches?

We did Sardinia in 2012 and its covered extensively on my blog with pics just go to the 2012 archive on left column

We took our elderly dog with us and although officially I believe dogs aren't allowed on beaches we never had a problem. If you like beaches then you will find some of the best in europe. We never booked sites and mainly used ACSI. Most of these sites were next to beaches that were generally deserted. Hope the blog helps. Scroll to the beginning of the Sardinia trip and read going upwards that way it all makes sense.
