Samsung Smart Switch anyone...

Anyone used Smart Switch if yes how was it...

Not good, it gets to the final section, and then says error when trying to sync Outlook on my S7 and Tab 2 tablet. This is syncing through a win 10 computer.
It used to work up untill 2 updates ago.

Oh that's not so good is it....General question, any other ideas for transferring from Samsung to Samsung......

I used it to transfer from iPhone 4s to Samsung and worked well. Once I remembered my Apple Password etc!!
Never used it on Samsung to Samsung though.

Thanks for that I will down load it and try on a couple of older phones first just for practice.

Use it everyone we upgrade phones - even worked from a Nexus to a Samsung galaxy s7edge. Give it a go.

I've used it a few times and even from Alan's very broken phone (it was run over at work) to the lappy then to his new phone. Worked well every time.

Did you already have anything on your Samsung S8, if you did was it wiped or changed during the transfer in any way. Just asking as my recipient Samsung does already have quite a bit on it...Thanks

No, the S8 was new and empty.

Considerably lower down the techie pecking order than you chaps, but it worked fine going from a Samsung J3 to a J7 for me.

I have 2 S8+s and one moto5. I would like to transfer the contents of all three of them onto my Note 9 which already has some bits on it that I don't want to loose. Any help appreciated. Will transferring damage anything stored on my Note 9..Ta

Just back up the S8 first. If anything gets changed just restore from the backup. If it doesn't then fine. Simples.
