Since we pulled the plug on this place and came off all the web sites we were on it`s really weird...

Had the Funster rally last weekend and got a long`ish staying guest...

But nothing else other than a couple of one night`ers booked in... and a few Funsters over the next few weeks...

Not got to think about what grass needs cutting what has to be done or tidied up today...

Just so strange and sad really..

Never under estimate the power of web sites.... and Travel World...

I suspect it has more to do with social media reports of naked men driving tractors.

It is sad and it does feel weird.
We felt it when working on a campsite and came to the end of season.
You pack everything away, turn everything off and the whole place is like a ghost town!
Just think tho no more worry about grass growing, things needing repairing, etc. You can do what you want and go where you want when you want!!!

The same applies to the motorhome. Parked on the drive it is just a vehicle. When in use, it comes alive.

Lol. I don't like answering, "So, you'd like to change your van then?" When I'm in my van. Don't want it to hear in case I upset it.

Someone rented our apartment last week, so we got out and went up the campsite, still shopping in our local stores eating in local restraunt, and people say it must feel weird.
Then we have been home for a week, and get out tomorrow, back to the campsite for a couple of days, and fully booked apart from one week (at the mo), 26th May / 2nd June then off travelling in the motorhome until mid October.
Does it feel weird, do we find it strange, are we sad, definitely not people pay good money and have wonderful holidays, return customers become friends, and we do what we enjoy doing.
And that's why we decided to buy it.

But I know what your saying Maurice, but alot of the time it's the routine or lack of it that's strange, I'm sure once you start doing other things, you will find you don't know how you had time to do it anyway.

Just going in for the second swim of the day, then it's time to eat.
I don't know where the time goes, and we have a man looking after the gardens and pool.

I think you’ll find that there are a few of us out there that talk to our MH’s so I wouldn’t worry. It’s when they start answering back we might think of seeking medical assistance.
