We want to put a rooflight in our roof sideways on. Anyone know any fixes to prevent rain getting in on the exposed side?

I can't be bothered to get a tape to measure ours!!!!!!,------but if yours is the size of the American vent like the fantastic fan there are skylight covers to go over the vent------ these allow you to leave vents open in heavy rain without it coming inside, we have one on our (euro) van and swear by them,---- ours is made by Maxair (sp) --- I think there are other makes.

Just realised I had a tape next to me!!!!! The vent is 350x350mm ish
