Has anyone done the Royan to Verdon ferry lately if so what was the cost, I’m getting 60 euros for 2 plus a compact Motorhome. Seems a bit steep, almost makes Brittany ferries look good! Looks like there’s a nice aire on the other side though.

Havent done it but that price looks about right to save 3 hours travel and £30 of diesel

Yep, 60€. 50€ for Motorhome and 2x 5€ for adult passengers.

Not since 2019 BobbyJ and it was about €40 then for a van with a family of 3. And yes the aire at Verdon sur mer is really nice. If you get chance stop at the one by beach at St. George’s de Didonne before your crossing. Our favourite beach in France and cracking sunsets.

Thanks for that, we are looking to stay around there somewhere anyway. I see there are 2 just off the beach, any recommendation.

Following your recommendation we have found 2 aires Didonne 1and2 and 3 ACSI campsites in St George’s de didonne. Expect to be there this weekend and stay a while while the weather clears up. What do you recommend?
