Just fitted one. Easy to fit, well made and swift delivery.

I put a bucket under the outlet pipe last night. Shocked to see how much water the tray had stopped going down the back of the engine😱

The van is two years old so I guess the injectors have had a soaking over that time but at least no more.

Not cheap, but worth it?

I bought a similar tray which is available in the UK from fabrachineltd who sell it via eBay as a Ford Transit Injector Water leak soution to problem.
Excellent quality and value. It also comes with quality hosepipe and jubilee clip. I spoke to Tony who was excellent to deal with and he confirmed the new design is even easier to fit as the bolts are inserted from the top of the tray and screw into welded lock nuts on the underside of the bracket. The photos on the website were out of date but he was updating them today. Highly recommend this company

Has Ford addressed this on new engines does anybody know ?
They are well aware it’s a problem waiting to happen along with the wet belts situ.
Loads of fords for sale due to this 🤔

My understanding of the drip trays is that without them, the injectors can corrode externally (this does not cause them to fail) so if they do fail (for the reason shown above?) they are a nightmare to remove.
